Conference "Active Flow and Combustion Control 2018"

After the very successful conferences "Active Flow Control" and "Active Flow Control II" in 2006 and 2010, respectively, and "Active Flow and Combustion Control 2014", we decided to organize a follow-up conference "Active Flow and Combustion Control 2018", which will take place in

Berlin, Germany, September 18-21, 2018
The main focus of the conference, as of our collaborative research center, will be on 
  • Active flow control, especially closed-loop flow control, 
  • Combustion control, 
  • New machine concepts, especially pulsed detonation / constant volume combustion,
  • Unsteady aero- and gas dynamics, and
  • Unsteady cooling
  • Model reduction.
However, other aspects of flow and combustion control are welcome as well. As before, only invited papers will be presented.
